Why THIS workshop?

Earn 12 contact hours! This workshop will help the participants understand the history of sandtray play therapy work and the materials needed to put it into practice. Participants will learn the play therapy skills needed to process sandtray with their clients. Case studies, experiential learning, and play therapy videos will aid in this process. The role of the play therapist in sandtray will be examined as well as specific populations this modality works well with. Specific play
therapy theories, techniques, rationale, and history specific to sandtray play therapy will be discussed. This
workshop will also focus on personal growth through
opportunities to create your own sandtrays.
