Meet the Staff

Abigail Elkins
Abby Elkins is an Associate Professional Counselor who is passionate about helping individuals of all ages feel supported, understood, and empowered. With over a decade of experience working with children in a variety of roles. Abby brings warmth, creativity, and compassion to her work with both children and adults. She takes a holistic, person-centered approach to counseling and enjoys incorporating expressive techniques such as art and play to support growth and healing.
Abby holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling as well as an Education Specialist degree in Counseling and Human Services from Florida State University, where she also served as a graduate assistant and mentor for first-year counseling students. Additionally, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with minors in Sociology and Public Health, from Georgia Southern University.
Her clinical experience includes providing individual and group counseling in both private practice and school-based settings. Abby has supported clients facing a range of concerns, including anxiety, self-esteem issues, life transitions, and attachment challenges. She also has experience facilitating psychoeducational workshops in the community and values collaboration with other professionals to offer well-rounded, client-centered care.
Abby is currently working toward full licensure in the state of Georgia and is an active member of professional organizations such as the American Psychological Association and Chi Sigma Iota. Outside of her professional life, Abby enjoys cuddling with her pets, traveling around the world, thrifting for vintage things, and spending time with her loved ones.

Emily is a post-master's counselor who is dedicated to helping adolescents and adults through some of life's challenging times. Emily brings with her years of mentoring adults and facilitating psychosocial rehabilitation. She brings a sense of curiosity, warmth, and genuineness to each session. Emily takes an existential approach to counseling with bringing techniques from other frameworks and creative interventions to explore growth and change.

Emily graduated from Georgia Southern with a Bachelors in Psychology with a minor in Arabic, Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, and a Masters of Education in Counselor Education with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health. She has experience working with individuals who are struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, and adjustments to life transitions.

Emily is currently working towards associate licensure and full licensure in the states of Georgia. She is an active member of the American Counseling Association, the Military Government Counseling Association, and Chi Sigma lota. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor and is a certified psychiatric rehabilitation practitioner. Outside of being a counselor, Emily loves to read, travel, and hang out with her cat.
